Where it started
Learned by hosting, refined through experience.
Strategic Stays began with Cottage on Lords. Every part of the short-stay experience was learned firsthand, from setting up each room and refining the guest journey to coordinating cleans, responding quickly and reviewing pricing.
That practical experience developed into a clear standard for presentation, communication and care. Across five years of Superhost experience and hundreds of guest reviews, the same lesson has held: people notice when a home has been thoughtfully prepared.
The business has grown carefully from there. Joel remains directly involved, so owners know who is looking after the details and guests receive support from someone who understands the property.
